ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

Per Press Association. WooDYiisLE, June 9. A two-year old ehild named Newbiiry fell into a well at Maharaliara to-day and was drowned. Cajibeidge, June 10. The four-year-old son of Goorgo Price, a Karapiro settler, was burned to death, owing to his clothes catching fire while his parents were absent milking. Pahiatua, June 10. A man named John Beaufort, a surveyor, was found by two men at the foot of a staircase about 10 o'clock on Saturday night, evidently having falbn downstairs. He was conveyed to tho hospital and a doctor summoned, but tho man died at eight on Sunday morning. Deceased leaves three grown up sons here, his wife and two children being in America and a daughter in Australia. An inquest is being held.
