ALLEGED DUMMYISM.

.o-. Per Press Association. Blenheim, June 7. Three charges of dunimyism were before the Magistrate’s Court to-day. In the first Crown v. George Gibson, it was alleged that defendant took up a section near Kaikoura in reality for T. Boyd, a freeholder. The information was dismissed, it being shown there was nothing to prevent Boyd taking up'the lease himself if ho so desired. The second case is proceeding. Later. The dnmniyism charge dismissed was against Thomas Boyd, not GibSon. A secoui charge against Gibson as an alleged dummy was heard this morning.. Accused reserved his defence and was committed for trial, bail in '£loo being allowed. The hearing of the third charge is proceeding.
