CLEARING SALE.

ilessrs Dalgety and Go., Ltd., report having held a most successful clearing sale on Saturday, Juno Ist, on account of Mr W. A. Hodgkinson, at his homestead, near Huntervillo. The high quality of the stock offering combined with an exceptionally fine day drew a large attendance of buyers, and all classes of stock fold under spirited bidding. The following aro prices obtained: —Sheep : 2-tooth Eonmey-Lincoln ewes in lamb, 26s 7d; 4,0, and f.f.m. do., 24s 3d ; owo lambs, 13s 3d; fat and forward ewes, 14s 7d ; s.m, ewes in lamb, 13s 8d ; wether lambs, 12s od ; aged ewes in lamb, 8s Id ; cull iambs, Ss Id. Cattle: 2j t° 3yr steers -IP Ci to 45 7s Od, cows in calf 45 7s Gd to 48 2s Gd, heifers in calf 43 15s, 18mos etoors 555, cows 355, ISmos heifers 335, mother-fed weaners 275. Horses: flight draught gelding 423 ss, 1 harness mare 424 10s, 2-year-old light draughts JUG 10= to 4X9135, mare with foal 417, ISmos light draughts 410 5s to 411, hacks 47 to 49 15s; a dog cart realized 424, a tip spring dray 410, and a set of harness 45 10s. A very large collection of implements, tools, and sundries, and also a quantity of household furniture, met with good competition and concluded one of the most successful sales held in tfao district.
