ADULTERATION OF WINE.

Two hundred thousand persons participated in the Anti-Government demonstration at Mines, France: The Ministerial Bill prohibits the use of sugar which enables wine of lower alcoholic strength to competo with stronger wine produced in the south of France, but does not touch adulterations from watering, blending or chemical treatment.
