PROPOSED BAND CONTEST.
Press Association. Ashburton, May 27. At a meeting o£ the General Committee to-night, October 9th (Labor Day) and 10th were fixed on which to hold a secondclass Band Contest here. It was resolved to cable Home for music for the test selection.
