LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.

Marton Borough Affairs.

Slß.—May I use your valuable columns as a medium of enquiry, as it would be probably interesting to many of your readers if the following questions were answered. Does the Ratepayers’ Association now exist? Who. are now its officers? Possibly those relegated to a higher “realm of bliss” still hope to be able to act in a dual capacity and sit in judgment on the Borough Council’s actions. If the association now exists how many of its members are at present supporting the now coach service and thus acting consistently with their pre-election war cry of reduced fares? The Borough Council, as at present constituted, car. hardly he called a body of engineers and here is an opprotuuity for the Association to show that it is still alive and suggest that outside assistance. should be called in whore local public works demand a supervisor and expert.—Yours, etc.., RESIDENT.
