By “ Turf.” The first day’s racing of thefabove meeting will he held' on Saturday. A double event totalisator will be conducted on the Empire Handicap and Royal Handicap. Anticipations : Maiden Hurdles, 1)4 miles : Bon Jonson or Franklin. Maiden Plate, 7 furlongs: St. Syren or Field Marshall. Handicap, miles; Uhlander or Waipuua. Royal Handicap, 5 y 2 furlongs: Te Aroha or Soultmaid. Hurdles, two miles: Soultflsh or Shrapnel, Maiden Steeplechase, 2}4 miles: Mawhiti or Khama. Pony Handicap, s y, furlongs: Octoroon or Waihou.
