Ashburton, May 16. The weather was fine and attendance good for second day of Ashburton County Racing Club’s Autumn Meeting. Speculation was brisk, the sum of £3765 being invested during the day. Results . Moreton Farrs Hack—Silkweb 1, Gypsobel 2. Off Chance 3. Scratched : Takaro, Hemlock. Won by half a length. The judge placed Gypsobel second though Off Chance appeared to gam the position by half a length. Time, Imin IGsec. Divs., £2 6s and £2 10s. Winchmore Welter Don Orsino 1, Mango 2, Farley Grove 3. Scratched: Roscommon. An easy win. Time, Imin 23 3-sseo. Divs., £2 8s and 16s. Grandstand Hack—Wanoff 1, Lapland 2, Idasa 3. Scratched: Postcard. Wanoff shot out at the distance and won by nearly five lengths. Time, Imin 41 l-ooco. Divs., £4 2s and £1 Bs. Mount Somers Welter—Tom Tit 1, Eulemraa 2, Thyrsus 3. Also started: Antony. The winner led all the way and won by eight lengths. Timo, Imin 30 4-ssee. Div, £2B. Juvenile Handicap Jack Ashoro 1, Aimee Soult 2, Glory 3. Scratched : Lupulite, Amokura - . Won by a length.
