Messrs Abraham and Williams report on their Johnsonvilla sale as follows ; There was a full yarding of bullocks, the quality ranging from rough bullocks of fair quality to light unfinished steers. Beef made 21s per lOOlbs; best bullocks £8 2s Gd to XS 17s 6d, others X 7 10s to XB, light X 7 2s 6d. There was a good yarding of sheep, including some extra prime heavy wethers. Tho market was brisk throughout. Bxtra wethers fetched ISs lid to 23s 6d, prime wethers 18s lid. others 17s 7d to 18s 6d, heavy owes 17a lid, others 13s 3d to ICs Bd, store ewes lls lOd.
'Messrs 'Abraham and Williams report on their usual fortnightly sale at Huntorvillo, hold ou Tuesday:— There was a good yarding of both sheep and cattle, most of which found a market at late ruling rates. We quote : Sheep : Fat and forard wethers 15s 9d to ICs lid, empty ewes 8s to 15s, culls to 8s 9d, mixed lambs 10s 7d. Cattle : Fat bullocks £7 7s fid, 18 months steers £2, 3 year steers £3 Is fid to £3 15s, 3 year steers £4 4s fid,, forward cows £2 13s to £3 4s, fat cows £4 4s fid to £4 16s fid, wonaors to 33s fid, empty heifers £2 9s to £3 3s. Pigs : Slips 9s, porkers ISs.
