On Wednesday afternoon Huutervilie seniors defeated Rata at Rata bv C points, two tries scored by McRae and Stratford, to 3 points, a try by Grant. The Management Committee of Raugitikei Rugby Uuion meet at Martou to-night to draw up fixtures for ’senior, ..second and third class competitions. At Marton Borough Council last evening a letter was read from Martou Football Club asking for certain improvements on western portion: Referred to the Park Committed with power to act. Unless it is thought advisable to cover in the largo drain the footballers will probably be allowed the use of the eastern side for a month. .

The foliowing will play for Tedding third fifteen against lua Toa, on the Foil cling racecourse on Saturday, at 3 p.m. sharp: Hodges, Murch, Younger, Smith, James, Stunned, Fowles, Hicks, Niccolls, Wells, Thomas, Goodwin, Beale, Hubner, Desmond. Emergencies: Brown, Banks. Players must appear in club colours. A scratch match between Sandon and Bulls will be pinyed next Saturday afternoon, on Bulls grounds.
