The lamb market is linn. Lightweights for Canterbury, and - other than Canterbury 4%d. Heavyweights Canterbury 5%d, and other ‘ than Canterbury sJ£d. There is a b etter demand for beef. Stocks of Now Z ealaud on hand arc ’ light. Prices ruling are &%A and - 3Ud for hinds and fores respectively. There is a. fair demand for better grades of butter. Choicest Now ' Zealand is quoted at 975, Danish ' 103 s. The cheese market is steady, with , improved demand at 635. The hemp market is quiet hut firm. Good fair grade ou spot is , worth £33 10s, May-Juue shipments - £33 10s, fair grade on spot £3O.
