THE LATE REV. JAMES DOULL.

The session of the Bulls Presby* terian congregation Isas passed the following appreciative minute on the decease of its late minister I "The session puts on record its deep sense of the loss sustained by the Bulls congregation and' the whole church iu the decease of the Rev. James Doull. It thanks God for the life given so long to the service of God and man. For more than 34 years Mr Dottll laboured as the faithful minister of Bulls. He was never known to shirk what he _ believed was his duty. He was upright and sincere in all his conduct, and never feared the face of man. Ho was honest in all his goings and did his best for all whom he was called to help. In zeal and in liberality he set a noble example, whilst in mental equipment and studious habits ho took a high place. His high character and distinctive qualities of mind have left behind them a far-reaching influence for good. To the end of his days .his mind was clear and vigorous and his people were to tho very last the object of his prayers and efforts. In tho days of declining health tho life that had boon lived so much for God’s glory camo into still closer communion with our Saviour Jesus Christ. The session can only thank God for tho holy and noble life which was given so long to his people as guide, and counsellor and friend. To the sou and daughter, to whom Mr Doull wns so much, the session tenders its sincere sympathy.”
