Press Association. Christchurch, May 8. Worth Canterbury Education Board is still Lice to face with the difficulty of obtaining teachers for country schools. At the meeting Mr T. O. Adams stated that not a single application had been received for tho position of mistress at 'Mackenzie school, in the Cheviot- district. On tho other ban 1 thoro wore a dozen applications for a position close to town at a salary of £93. Tho desire of teachers to secure schools near tho centres is clearly shown.
