Press Association. —Copyright. MEr.uounNK, May 8. Letters from New Guinea indicate considerable uneasiness respecting the immediate future of the Possession. It is stated that the administration of the various divisions is becoming confused, aud fears are entertained of the natives becoming hostile. Two District Magistrates, Messrs Moncktou and English, have resigned, and others intend to take a similar conrse.
