ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
Per Press Association. Dunedin, May 4. Peter Flannery, a farmer, who met with an accident on Friday last between Clark’s Junction Hotel and Deopstream bridge, died at the hospital. Ashburton', May 6. A single man named Hcjnry Osborne Glover, aged about 601 years, was found dead about mid-day in an empty sample room. He was a draper by trade and has boon thirteen years in the employment of one firm hero. His only relation known is a brother in Timarn.
■Wellington, May 6. A. L. Eiby, a young man, committed suicide with a revolver at Barrett’s Hotel this morning. He was cashier in the local office of the Now Zealand Shipping Company and was transferred hero five or six mouths ago from Timaru where his father is manager of the flour mill. Deceased (loft hs office on Saturday afternoon and seemed normal thou.
