A STEAMER ON FIRE.

Per Press Association—Copyright, Brisbane, May 4. The German-Australian steamer Bieleekl is on fire. Tho outbreak originated in the copra cargo. • Brisbane, May 4. The Bielfiold is still burning. The plates on her port side are red hot. This morning a hole was cut through the plates, and the water pouring in she is settling down by the stern. Brisbane, May 5.

The fire was subdued after burning fifty hours. The principal damage is in No. 5 hold, where there were 140 bales of wool. The damage by fire and water is roughly estimated at £SOOO. Some of her plates wero buckled.
