Tho sale held by Ttfessrs Gorton and Son in conjunction w'th Messrs Dal gety anj' Co. tor Mr Jos. Campion, at Waitona, yesterday was probably tho best aa regards prices over held in Feilding district. Even the culled owes (in lamb) brought 25s 3d. The 2-th stud owgi brought from £2 15s to £3, mostly tlijf higher figure, tho 3, 4 and 5-year-014 ewes from .£1 10s to £2 10s, the stud rams from £2 2s to £7 15s, tho 2-th floct; ewes, 10,110 of them, GO at 35s 6d andjthei balance at 33s 6d, stud owe lambs 29s and 30s, stud ram lambs £2 Gs and £2 14aj 1440 flock ewe lamb 3 17s 9d, 17s lOd aa| 18s, 1426 4-th ewes 32s Gd, 1457 6-th aai full-month ewes 29s Gd, 457 2-tlt ewes 34s and 37s Gd, 300 owe lambs smaller 14s 2d, ram lambs 2Gs 3d, and 74 2 and 4-th wethers 17s 9d. Cattle: 41 calves off their mothers £2 4s Gd, weancra smaller 37s 6d, 20 18-mos to 20-mos stecra £4 Os 6d, Shorthorn bull £l2 10s, 75 cows £2 lGs Gd, 56 hoifers 15 months and upj wards £3 12s, mixed weaners 37s 6d, Draught horses sold up to £4l, and thera were some good backs sold. The principal buyers of rams were Messrs W. and T, Duncan, Collier, Glesson, Malcomb, ani Clealand Bros; of the ewes and ram lambs, Messrs E. Shortt, Duncan Bros., Keillei Bros., J. R. McDonald and D. Peat. Messrs E. Short, J. J. Williamson, Birob. and Son and S. Gray wero tho principal purchasers of cattle.
