The Colonists’ Association at Nairobi has re-olected Mr Grogan president, and urged Lord Elgin to appoint an inquiry from Home regarding the flogging incident and, other grievances. The Prince of Wales in laying the foundation of- the New House for Society for the Propogation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, testified by personal observation in all parts of the Empire to the Society’s success in supplying to fellow countrymen in the Colonics, religious opportunities, which were impossible ia. the earlier days of the colonies’ life without the generous support of the home church.
