A SCHOOL FOR LOVERS.

The University of Chicago, which has been responsible" for many startling proposals affecting every-

day life, has surpassed itself. Professor Henderson, a member of the university staff, has shocked even Ohicgo by advocating. a school for lovers. He declares that engaged couples should be given export instruction in the art of love-making, in order to lift modern courtship out of tho state of barbarism into which it has passed. Among other courtship reforms he insists upon eliminating extravagance, flirtation, and the .acceptance of presents. The women of Chicago are indignant at Professor Henderson's criticisms, and one newspaper observes sarcastically that the only man in Chicago who needs instruction in love-making is the professor himself.
