o~-- . . Per Press Association. Christchukch, April 24. A serious railway accident occurred at tho Belfast railway station to-day. Mrs Jordan, who is 72 years of age, was standing on the platform when.a train came in, and from some cause which does not seem to have been noticed by the bystanders, she fell towards the train, and was severely crushed bctweenjt and the kerbing of the platform. She was brought into Christchurch by her son-in-law, Mr Patterson, and admitted to the hospital shortly before 1 o'ciock. It was found that one of her arms and several ribs were broken and she had sustained severe scalp wounds.
