AN AUSTRALIAN TRAGEDY.

A swagman, William Panton. was found near Kynoton terribly Wounded, and he died in the hospital. Deceased and a younger unknown man were seen the previous day camprng together. An axe covered with blood and hair and indications of a desperate struggle were discovered at the camp. Panton’s mate has disappeared.
