THE ELINGAMITE TREASURE.
Per Pres? Association Auckland, April 20. Tlie auxiliary schooner Huia leaves Kaipara to-day under the charge of Oapt. D. McKenzie to make an attempt to recover the balance of bullion lost in the wreck of the Elingamito in November 1903. Mr Leigh, of Wellington, has been engaged as diver. Oapt. Willis superintends operations and the expedition is financed by Oapt. George McKenzie, of Auckland.
