A trip to Marlborough is always looked upon as a pleasant outing, and the Riverlands Racecourse is now in such excellent condition that it is perhaps unsurpassed by any club of a similar size to the Marlborough Racing Club in New Zealand. The programme includes four open races, two hack hurdle races, two high weight handicaps for gentlmen riders and eight oer hack races, including one maiden event.
