The cruiser Invincible, 17,350 tons, has been launched at Eswick yards on the Tyne. (This is by far the largest cruiser in the-world. Hitherto the Minotaur, Shannon and Defence, of 14,500 tons and 22% knots, nave been the largest cruisers. Details as to armament of the now vessel are not available.)
