The colonies were intent on closer alliance and cooperation, and if Government treated that ambition indifferently they can still draw olosor the union among themselves, Preference is the key to identity of interests and the secrets of amity.
The visiting Premiers consider that Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman ought to preside, hut the matter is entirely cue for the Home Government’s decision.
