The battleship Trafalgar, owing to a defect in the steering gear, was stranded on Devil's Point Reef at the entrance to tho Hamoaze, Dovonport, on a strong ebb tide. It was towed off within half an hour with two feet of water in the forward compartments. The damage is slight.
