Tho New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report that at their Himatangi sale on Mondav they had a full yarding of both sheep and cattle. A large number of buyers were present and a good sale resulted, all the sheep being quitted at satisfactory values under the hammer. All the cattle with the exception of two pens were sold at current rates, also at auction. Quotations. —Sheep: Cull lambs 4s (jd, woolly lambs ite Sd, cull ewes Gs lCdtoßs*7d, souud mouth ewes 12s Cxi to 12s lOd, fat ewes 14s 7d. Cattle: 18-months heifers 33s Gd, weaners 17s, store cows 37s Gd, fat cows £3 5s to £-i Is, springing heifers £5, yearling steers 3is, 2-jcar steers £2 4s to £2 13s.
