In the case of tho Trustees" of tho Horseshoe Land Drainago Board v. the Trusteeos of tho Sluggish Biver Land Drainage Board commenced this morning in the Court of Appeal, Mr W. Treadwell on behalf of the appellant Board, cited canes to show that the work done by the respondent Board was really an improvement to the drain and could not be included under tho head of " maintenance" Mr Skerrott was not called on. The Court dolivored an oral judgment dismissing tho appeal.
