Ltd. , rejiort: At Palmerston North on Thursday we had a. full yarding of cattle, and a small entry of sheep. - 'Bidding for cattle was ‘somewhat erratic, but generally a good sale resulted, and practically the whole yarding was quitted at satisfactory prices. Sheep wore in good demand and sold well. Quotations. Sheep : Mixed aged ewes 15s Bd, 2-tooth wethers 14s 7d to 15s Id, fat iambs 15s, aged rams 10s to 20s, 3-tootli Lincoln rams 3 guineas. With tho exception of oue or two pens all sheep were sold at good prices. Bidding for cattle was not very spirited, but a good clearance was effected. At Feildiug on Friday we had a heavy yarding of cattle aud an average entry of sheep. Cattle wore in good demand, with the exception of two pens everything was sold under tho hammer at satisfactory prices. Sheep also sold well, aud there was a very keen demand for lambs.
