COUNCIL SPECIAL OBDBRS. Notice is hereby f ivo.n that at a special meetir.g of the Manawatu County Counci', ho.'d at Sanson, on the 13th March, 1907, the following special orders were adopted : That in pursuance and exercise-of the power.; vested in it in that behalf by " f ?be Local Bodies Loans Act, 1901," and'by virtus of a warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, in feuns of Section 118 oE "The Public Works Act, 1905," dated the 14th d>iy o£ December, 1906, the Manawatu County Council hereby resolves as follows : (1) That for the purpose of providing the interest and othsr charges on a loan of two thousand pounds sterling authorised to be raised by the Manawatu County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for tbo purpose of providing the Manawatu County Council's share of the cost of j constructing a bridge (including approaches and protective works) over the Manawatu Kiver near Shannon, known as the Shannon Bridge, the site of the said budge approaches and protective works being more particularly delined on tbe plo-n marked ; < E 2749 " deposited in the office cf the Chief Engineer of Roads, Wellington, in the Wellington Laud District, and thereon shown in red colour, such loan to be at four per centum per annum for a period of forty-one years, the said Manawatu County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Bate of one-sixtieth ot a penny in tbo pound upon the rateable value of all rateabh property within tbo boundaries of the Manawatu County, and that such Special Eate shall be an annual recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be \ ayablo yearly on the first day of July in each and 6very yea? during the cutrency cf such loan, being a period of forty-one y<ars, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Timfc iu pursumco a»d exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Looil Bodies Loans Act, 1901," tfao Masawatu Oouuty Council hereby resolves as follows: " That for the purpose of providing Iho interest nnd other charges on pJoun of five hundred pounds sfceriin_ authorised to be raised by the Manawatu County Council under the above-mentioned Ac', for tho purpose of constructing tho Koputaru Road, tucb loan to bo at 4 per csntum years, the raid Manawatu County Council hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of seven-twelfths of a penny m the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable properly of the Koputaru Road Spoei-ii Riling District, comprising the following Section:', -18. 18a, 19, 19a, 20, 22 and 23 of the Oroua Downs Estate, Block Xllf, TeKawau Survey District and that such Special Rite shall b 3 an annual recurring rate during the currency of such lo:\n, and be payable yearly on the first dayof July in each and evosy year during the currancj of such loan, beiu;> a period of forty-one year;- - , or until the loan is fully paid off.
