NO-LICENSE CONVENTION.
Per Press Association, Auckland, April 2. The convention of no-license workers is being held. The annual report stated that Air David Whyte had heou engaged as organiser, and a comprehensive scheme adoptcdjfor the whole province.' The financial scheme had resulted in a promise of nearly £ISOO per annum. Motions wore carried affirming that a majority should carry any issue on the ballot paper, expressing appreciation of the action taken by Orhistchucrh Licensing Committee in re“ gad to the sale of liquor attheEhihition, and in favour of temperance in State school instruction.
