The entertainment promoted by the young ladies of the Bible Class, which took place at St. Andrews’ Hall, Marton, yesterday, was well | attend, and the receipts wore very } satisfactory. Much of the credit is duo to Miss Nicol, who took a leadt ing part in organising the entertainment. The funds will be devoted : towards the cost of erecting a suitable room for the Class. Kilgour 1, MissDonll 2; cocoaunt ice, Miss Gertie Mcßeth 1, Miss J. Gordon 2; preserves, raspberry, Mrs A. K. McGregor 1, Mrs Anderson 2; plum, Mrs Cox 1, Mrs Nesbit 2; collection, Miss R. Kicol 1, Miss M. Baskin 2; curios, Miss Flora Kicol 1, Miss Mogridge 2. Special prizes were given by Mr McEldowuey and Mr J.
