The arrested suffragettes were each fined from 20s to 40s, with tho alternative of a month or lesser terms of imprisonment. ~. ~ . The jidgistrate . warned thb* Suffragettes that a repetition of the offence would involve imprisonment without the option of a fine. Patricia Woodcock, of Liverpool, twice previously convicted iu connection with the suffragettes demonstrations, was sentenced to a mouth’s imprisonment for taking part iu the last raid ou tho House of Commons.
