DAIRY INSTRUCTION.

Press Association. Dunedin, March 21. At the meeting of the Education Board a letter was read from the headmaster" of Mosgiel school suggesting that dairy instruction to girls should form part of the course in connection wtth technical instruction. The writer said he would underj take to qualify himself to,teach dairying in six months.

The Chairman of the Board (Mr T. McKenzie, M.H.R.), said he doubted very much whether even farmers' daughters could be induced to go to such a class, as factories were to a great extent superseding tho old fashioned dairy. He thought, however, that more attention might be given to tho matter of domestic cooking. Tho Board did not accede to the proposal.
