FEILDING COURT.
At Feilding Court this morning, before Mr Thomson, S.M., Albert Holmes, Kimbolton, farmer, for neglecting to make returns as provided by the Land and Income TaxAssessment Act -was fined 40s and £1 8s costs. In the case Webster v, Feilding Borough Council plaintiff was non-suited-without costs, in his claim for £SO bonus from Council. ; Three Chinese were summoned for keeping shops open after legal hours. Decision reserved. It was contended by Mr Carty for defendants that as their business consisted principally of fruit selling they might keep, open. Judgment was given in the following undefended cases with costs —G. W. Potts v. H. W. Hallbum claim 6s Gd, Fowler and 00. v. A.L. Davy claim £6, Fowler and Co. v H L. W. Holbrook claim £9 ss, Hodder and Tolley v. F. W. Allaby claim £5 ss, D. V. Barrett v. John Davies claim 19s, Alfred J. Perrott v. Alfred Potts claim £1 7s, Oroua County Council v. L. G. Mangham claim £0 9s 3d, E. Gladstone v. F. H. Peterkin claim £3 14s (3d.
