President Roosevelt' has signed an order preventing Japanese labourers entering the United States via Canada, Mexico, or Hawaii, by means of passports which are valid only in those countriesMarch 17. The Japanese at Hawaii telegraphed to President Eoosef elt that his decision enslaves them. Hawaiian capitalists have made a strong protest and havo also cabled to Tokio.
