Messrs Nisou, Bsuldelcy, and Forlong report as follows :—SVe held Our usual fortnightly stock sale at'Wanganui on the 13th instant, ■when wo were favoured with a largo yarding of both sheep aud cattle. A Largo number of buyers attended, and bidding for sheep was fairly brisk throughout, former quotations being well maintained. Bidding for cattle was somewhat slack, and prohibitive reserves prevented bnsines being done. Most of the sheep passed in were sold at the conclusion of the sale by private treaty. A small yarding of pigs sold well. Wo quote Sheep : Fat wethers 16s 9d, 3-tooth wethers 12s 61 to 13s loA,tf 3-tooth ewes Ids 4d to 22s (id, mixed 2-tooths Ms Td, 3 and ■! tooth ewes Ms, f.m. ewes 8s (kl to Us (id, culls 4s 8d to 5s 3d, lambs la 4d to Bs, cull ditto 4s 10.1, woollv lambs 10a (kl to 10s Bcl. Cattle: Fat cows £3 X4s Cd, mixed weaners Isis, mixed yearlings 20s, yearling steers 265, store coves 255, bulls £3 7s Gd. Pigs : Good stores 20s, good porkers 355, others 275. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., Feikling, report for weekending 15 th as under: —Saugiwaliia: G-ood yarding of .sheep and a small ouc of cattle. Bidding at auction was inclined to drag, both for cattle and sheep, but afterwards a satisfactory clearance was effected. Sheep : 2 and 4 tooth wothcrsl os (id, 4 tooth wethers IGs od, 3 tooth ewes 14s 4d, 4 toot it owes 13s Id, fat ewes 15s 3d, wether lambs 10s Oil mixed woolly lambs 12s 7d. Cattle; Heifers in calf £2 14s, 18 months heifers 27s Cd weaners 20s, 18 months steers £3 2s, %% year steers £3 los. Kimbolton: Sheep came forward in excess of advertised numbers, whilst a fair number of cattle wore yarded. Competition was not too brisk at auction, but a groat proportion of the lots yarded were quitted after the sale. Sheep; 6 tooth aud f.f.m. ewes los, 4 and 5 year owes 15s6d, f.m. ewosSs 3d, 10s. lls 3d, old owes 7s, mixed lambs ba 2d, 10s, 3 tooth wethers 15s 4d, small 12s. Feikling :On Friday we had a good entry of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. Sheep were in good demand, and were keenly competed for, most lines selling freely under the hammer. Sheep : Cull lambs 5s lOd, store lambs 7s 9d to 8a Bd, cull ewes 0s 9d to 8s 6d, s.m. ewes 13s to 14s, 3 and 4 tooth owes, good, 16s 4d to 16s 9d, 2 tooth ewes 10s 2d to 21s 7d. Cattle : Empty heifers £3, 3 year steers £4 17s 6d, forward bullocks £0 10s.
