It is reported at Ottawa that the Canadian-Pacific Railway Co. intend to place two of their Orient service vessels on a reorganised New Zealan d-Australian service. Beisbane, March 14. The Brisbane Chamber of Commerce resolved to protest against the proposal to exclude Brisbano as a port of call for tho Vancouvor service, and to ask tho Post-master-General to safeguard the interests of Queensland.
