Since Brigg election, in which a Conservative won a scat, and the London County Council elections, the Liberals talk less about the House of Lords, but Sir Charles Dilke and many Badicals are memorialising Sir H. CampbellBannerman asking for an early pronouncement as to his intentions. Lord Mcnkswell, speaking at Dover, said tho Liberals must cut the claws' of the Lords as Conserva tive reformers wished to strengthen the Lords.
