LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.
" SIR, —Every fair-minded reader of your paper must have echoed the statement in the Advocate leader of Saturday that news of a one-sided nature concerning the Campbell-Ban-nernian Government is cabled to New Zealand, all readers of Home papers know well. " Criticisms and views of Conservative papers are cabled as representing British public opinion. Let the Liberal organs be quoted and a more true state of things will be given to colonial readers. The Campbell-Banncrman Cabinet has its faults; but so had the Balfour. Tho former is trying to bring about muchneeded reforms. Tho latter, as a recent English visitor stated, was "leading the country to the devil," and seemed content that it should go there. I am, etc., FAIR PLAY. Huntervillo, March 11th, 1907.
