Mueller, an ex-teacher sentenced to death at Bayreuth in November for the murder of Bertha WuenscheImeyer, an eleven-year-old pupil, whose body, after lying in Ms bed’rpom all night, was, burned in a wood next morning; is now undergoing trijil for the,.murder af a ;widow paraed Endors. When sentence was . pronounced in November the judge laid Endors’ skull on the, table and summoned the prisoner to swear on it that he was innocent. M u U Gr feokd down and confessed that he was guilty. Ho has now repudiated the confession, saying ho made it hoping to be sent to an asylum. In making the repudiation he revealed bw sanity.
