The Times’ Constantinople correspondent reports that an Anglo-French syndicate, consisting of the Bank of England and tho Ottoman Bfiiuk and its group, has bought the majority of the Constantinople quays. The Company’s shares were, heretofore exclusively French, but the arrangement is being organised under the aegis of Britain and France. , The Daily Mail,correspondent has in-. terviewed the Sultan, who declared he sincerely desired to strengthen the old' bonds of friendship between Britain and Turkey. ‘ •
