The National Council of Evangelical Freo Churches [unanimously condemned the Congo barbarities, find. resolved not to rest until the evils disgracing humanity wore ended. The Council also urged the rejection of any scheme of Belgian annexation of tbo Congo State, which will leave a vestage of personal control in the hands of King Leopold.
