MONTGOMERY’S ENTERTAINERS.
Mr Montgomery’s popular entertainers gave Martouiaus a new bill-of-faro lust evening. Nearly every item on the attractive programme was new to a Martou audience, and the animated pictures wore a fine collection. The most popular of these was the military school cadets, which won loud applause. Mr Montgomery sang two of his ballads with limelight illustrations, “I Want to bo a Soldier” and “Hear the Pipers Calling,” and was well received. Mrs Montgomery sang “ Will You Love Me in December as You do iu May?” and “I’ve got my Fingers Orosse’d. ’ ’ She was warmly applauded and received a double encore. The famous scotch comedian, Mr Hall Kenny, gave two popular songs and was recalled for each. Mr W. H. Montgomery was hoard to advantage iu two numbers. Altogether the programme was good and won the hearty appreciation of the audience.
