HUNTERVILLE.
(From Our Own Correspondent,) A welcome institution in the shape of a Club has recently been formed and is to be opened .with a brilliant ■function on Saturday evening next. A Lirge attendance is expected froin all parts of the district. The Oliib is situated within 100 yards of the Post Office, aud is quite an addition to our iiiain street. • The building contains ■*,l .'large rooms,-.all of which are fitted ftp with the latest median couveni" fences. I had the plea'sure of: ioplcJng .through the building to day, ailfl wa>' agreeably surprised at finding £iu:h all up.-to_-da.fe establishment. ■' 'Tjjfl practice of .tniciring s'heo'p at night does not speni" to agree yrifij; the townspeople liying .' 'jipjir " the railway. Wo do not mind the noise of the sheep at all, but when about 15 (lops are required to assist I think it -would be a jjdpat boon if they could jjo muzzled in some Wjtyso th;j-t their incessant barking could'pe ,che',(jktjd. Mri". 0. &§rvy, who met with a serious accident 'ou Sunday week, is about again, and though a liiwe bruised seems none the worse for his j horse's introduction to a motor eai\
Football is again in the air, but JFrom all accounts I do not anticipate 'ifeoiiig our Club putting a strong .tearri in the field, as si largo number $. the older players intend to retixe. A UifftP number of lb.cal sports 'intend visiting Martpji pu the 18th, and given a fine day should" i'eel wpis/jsr[, as the programme (especially 'tn6 Jjprso jumping part of it)- is very popular iy flijs district.
