Early to-day the Dover harbour master despatched assistance to the Bed Star liner, Voderland, with .passengers, which is ashore on the Goodwin sands. Two German steamers collided oil the Goodwins, One began to sink, and a boat brought nine of her sailors to Dover, who reported that the captain and seven o£ the crow were standing by, but a tug made a fruitless search, which is being renewed.
