Next Wedne.way evening the public of Martou arc to have a farewell visit of that popular and well-known company, Montgomery’s Entertainers, who, since their last visit here, have been augmented with now members and songs of tho very latest, combining pictures with a musical first part, altogether forming - a programme of exceptional merit, guaranteed to suit tho taste of the most fastidious. Mr Edmund Montgomery has of late gone to enormous expense in procuring all tho latest and most amusing, instructive and animated pictures and now films arc arrving for the New Zealand tour by every mail. Tho new members of the above company are all on their first visit hero, so that a grand change of programme is in store on the Cth March. Tho special engagement is announced of Mr W. H. Montgomery, brother of the proprietor, whoso, magnificent baritone voice will bo hoard to great advantage hero owing to tho grand acoustic effects of the Opera House, Martou. Then we arc to hoar that famous English pianist, Mr Harold Godier, whose special eugagamout is announced, and was of late pianist to Madame Belle Cole’s Concert Company, besides a list of others, including Miss Hottio Hargood, tho famous soprano, and Mr Edmund Montgomery, London’s balladist, in all tho very latest descriptive songs. Mr Hall Kenney, the great Scotch comedian, and the only true rival of tho famous Sander; and the great and most expert operator and electrician, Mr Bert Gilbert.
