From Treasury, advising that Maugaouo Valley road loan £6O0 ,_ Hakohiuo V.S. road 10 per cent of £SO, Makirikiri road loan £IOO, and Whareroa road loan £I3OO, are all now available, and advising payment of loan moneys—Kavveka road £3OO, Scott’s Ferry road £IOO, Maugawcka town £SOO, Moawhaugo V. road £679, and Tutupapa road £SOO. From Chief Surveyor, stating that a warrant will be forwarded shortly authorising Mr Siccly to lay off roads through Ruataugata blocks. — Received. From Department of Roads, authorising grant of £l5O for Moawlxango Yalloy road and declaring Taihapo Valley road and Rauma road to be County roads. From Department of roads, advising that all authorities for grants issued .prior to September 21, 1906, under which no expenditure has taken place or been entered into prior to March 31, 1907, will bo cancelled.—lnspector reported that tho grants had been expended. From Department of Roads, advising that matter of repairs to Manga-woka-Tc Kapua road was being attended to. From Wanganui Charitable Board, asking tho estimated amounts required for charitable aid purposes by Council, also the value of County for rating purposes.—Attended to by Clerk. From Messrs FullertourSmith and Milos, asking whether Council accepts Mr Clark’s offer for road through his property at Fern Flats. —Letter to ho sent that Mr Wottofi has abandoned tho proposal to raise loan for this road. From G. Y. Lethbridge, suggesting name “Motn Rakan” for tolo • phono bureau at his place.—Council has already suggested “Ougo” as a suitable name. From H. Y. Lethbridge, stating that he and Messrs Green and Atkins Will guarantee tho £l5O required for tho Ruataugata road metalling, and will collect the first £OO thereof and forward. —OlerJi to draw up agreement for signatures. From D. O. Teuueut, ask ing to have Heaton Park road repaired and metalled for a distance of 37 chains, and agreeing to contribute £lO towards the work. Resolved (Chairman —Or.
