THE EXHIBITION.
Per Press Association Christchurch, March 2. The Exhibition attendance up to last night totals 1,383,833. Over 9,000 people attended tho sacred concert given by the Besses o’ thi Barq baud oq the Exhibition sports’ ground this afternoon, by way of memorial to the late E. J. Sodden, The takings at the gates amounted to £446 9a 6d, which will bo increased to over £SOO from the sale of programmes and reserved seats, This amount will be handed oyer by the band to Mrs Sodden to be applied by her to whichever of the Sodden memorial funds she may decide on,
The Hon. Hall-Jones states that the Exhibition will definitely close on April 15th,'
