Nominations for all handicaps and horse-jumping events in connection with tho abovo Sports close to-night. The Secretary will bo in attendance at Mr Brice’s office this evening to receive nominations:

Paraekaretu Sports Club,

A meeting was held on Thursday last in Mr j. Aitkeu’s wool shed to make preliminary arrangements fot holding the Paniokaretu equestrian sports meeting for 1907. After some discussion as to the date on which this meeting should bo held it was finally decided to have it on Wednesday, April 10. The balance-sheet was read and showed a very satisfactory credit. A strong and good working committee was elected and most of tho officials appointed. A subcommittee was also appointed to draw up tho programme and lay it before the next meeting, which will be held at the Kata butter factory office at 7.80 p.ui. cm Monday, March 11. The programme will bo advertised in this paper as soon as possible after this meeting.
